In 2022, Santos embarked on a transformative rebranding journey, partnering with Badge of Honour to develop a modern, functional apparel and merchandise program for their global workforce. Our challenge was to design a bespoke range that not only aligned with Santos’ new brand identity but also met the diverse needs of employees operating in varying climates around the world. Additionally, we were tasked with streamlining their supply chain, creating an agile inventory management system, and implementing a seamless e-commerce platform for ordering and distribution.

Challenge: Elevating apparel and supply chain efficiency

Following their rebrand, Santos required a fresh approach to employee apparel and merchandise that would reflect a revitalised identity while being high-quality and functional. With a workforce spanning multiple regions and climates, their apparel needed to be both versatile and durable, catering to on-site teams, corporate employees, and field staff alike.

Beyond product design, Santos needed an efficient, scalable supply chain solution. Badge of Honour was entrusted with creating a liquid supply chain model—managing inventory, warehousing, distribution, and an eCommerce platform that would enable seamless ordering and shipping globally.

Brand-aligned apparel and accessories
Our design team meticulously studied Santos’ new brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive look across all apparel and merchandise. The bespoke range included high-performance workwear, corporate apparel, and lifestyle accessories, all tailored to withstand different environmental conditions.

Event-specific merchandise
In addition to standard apparel, we created limited-edition merchandise for key events such as the Santos Tour Down Under, ensuring brand visibility in high-profile settings.

Custom eCommerce platform
We developed a streamlined ordering system accessible to all employees worldwide. This platform enabled global ordering with localised shipping rates and currency options; custom order requests for events and bespoke products; and bulk order functionality for large-scale inventory needs.

End-to-end supply chain management
We housed all stock securely in our Sydney warehouse, providing comprehensive inventory control, pick and pack services, and international distribution.
